The near plan is to join Farangur with syntrofi.com — the event and its pack — plus what stays exactly as it is, what I refuse to put a date on, and an open invitation to write to me.
- Why it's called Farangur
The app was born as Kufrant, after the Slovak word for suitcase — then I looked at the world map, learned what "kufr" means in Arabic, and went through two thousand domain names before an Icelandic word said yes.
- What Farangur deliberately does not do
No offline, no daily checklist, no calendar, no photos or barcodes, no half-packed socks, no ride sharing — thirty-four things were cut on purpose, and here is the reasoning behind the ones people argue with most.
